photographie sensible
Feeling both a craftsman and an artist, I work with images in a sensory way, constantly searching for materiality, both figurative and literal, and for that fragile balance between the captured and the liberated, between the frame and the out-of-frame.
Sometimes the image imposes itself on me as obvious, as a clear or mysterious message, just as much as it can be elusive and remain hidden in a corner of the soul - leaving a feeling of restlessness, of discomfort. So I keep looking for it, trying to define it so that I can finally capture it and hope to calm this turmoil.
A lover of analogue techniques and curious about chemical experiments, I favour slow, empirical approaches, adapting my process to my subject.
